Our full or half day accompanied Orientation Programs are developed from a detailed needs analysis and are very client specific. No two orientations are the same! Our objective is to provide you with accurate information about Mauritius and the potential opportunities that are available for you.
We will also identify suitable locations for your permanent home and business. We broadly discuss budgets, lifestyle, security, childcare, schooling, shopping, medical facilities, transport and recreational activities available in each area. Benefit from our experience, local knowledge is key!
SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS
We have a wide range of temporary accommodation options at our disposal for your ‘look see’ visit or relocation arrival. We’ll never suggest you stay anywhere we wouldn’t stay ourselves; we’ll make sure that you are put up very comfortably!
We find that some of our clients prefer self-catering villas and apartments where they can begin to experience the island life, others favour hotels and like to ease themselves in gently. Either way, you can count on us to secure preferential rates for your stay within budget.

Finding the right home in the right area is vital for a successful relocation. After conducting a thorough needs analysis, we work closely with you to make this possible. We work with a carefully selected list of reputable real estate agents to research and shortlist qualified properties prior to your arrival. Our relocation home search specialist will accompany you personally on all home viewings.
We have extensive experience within the Mauritian housing market and will ensure that the lease meets local norms and legislation. We’re on your side, we target only the best available properties and look after your best interests by negotiating the most favourable lease/purchase terms.
Once the property rental is agreed, we will conduct a thorough inventory and inspection. A comprehensive report with photographic evidence, signed by both the lessor and lessee is kept on file. This provides protection should any disputes arise upon termination of the rental agreement. In the case of new property purchases, our inspection includes a full de-snagging service.

Helpful tip – in Mauritius, majority of the houses for rent are fully furnished and it is challenging to find partially or unfurnished homes. Get in touch with us for insight into what items you should consider shipping.

SECURING A PLACE IS OUR PRIORITY
Finding the right school for your children is usually top of the list. Fortunately, Mauritius offers a number of world-class international primary and high schools. Once you have completed our education questionnaire, we will provide information and advice on selecting the most appropriate place for your children. Your dedicated relocation specialist will guide you through the various options on schools, setup interviews with the schools, accompany you on each visit and assist with the application process.
Securing appropriate school places is our priority as this will expedite the relocation process and positively impact your moving experience.
Mauritian law dictates that expatriate children as dependents are permitted to reside on the island until the age of 24, thus creating an opportunity to complete tertiary studies on the island as well. In fact, the island is positioning itself as the African hub for tertiary education and now boasts a number of top international universities and vocational colleges with English as the medium of instruction.
